“Dark Desire” is published in Gilded! I have both photographed and styled this shoot, meticulously selecting all the accessories pictured. This is a result of collaboration with wonderful model – Katherine Haber and makeup artist – Eliza Romero-Kovalsky. This is my 5th editorial this year alone! What a whirlwind this year has been in terms of editorial publications being accepted! I do not have much time to shoot right now, due to other commitments and every editorial I put together has been accepted to my absolute delight. I hope you enjoy “Dark Desire.”
This year I am truly blessed to have worked with amazing people to to have 5 publications come out in 3 months alone!! This beautiful Beauty centered editorial was created with my wonderful team that consisted of Model, Isabel Syers; Hair Stylist, Kauilani Goodwyn; MUA, Bree Mohler. I purchases the backdrop and the feathers for the concept and my team did its magic to bring this concept to life. In the end we were all very pleased with the results and I present to you the three published images. Stay tunded for a blog post for the making of this editorial titled “Lady Peacock” and my interview published in the same magazine! 😉
This latest publication has been an absolute dream come true! When I started pursuing photography 5 years ago my first photo shoots had gothic themes. Not in a million years did I think that my photos would one day be featured in a prominent gothic magazine! I am thrilled and honoured to have my photos and interview be displayed on the pages of Gothesque! This editorial rekindles my love for gothic themes and I will undoubtedly be shooting more editorials such as this one in the future. Without further ado, I present to you “Victorian Chic.”
Yet another Bridal Editorial – “Days Gone By” – has been published! I am so thrilled about it! This editorial was shot at an Antique warehouse in Vancouver, BC. My wonderful team consisted of model Cara H., makeup artist Paul Michael Gottardi and hairstylist Krista Bertrand. In addition to beautiful hair styling Paul assisted me in moving of the heavy furniture. We have changed the set multiple times to end up with a versatile shoot. It was a true pleasure to work with such wonderful team! I am very pleased with results and the publication in the premier issue of “Enchant Magazine”! Stay tuned for behind the scenes post for the making of “Days Gone By.”

I received a wonderful testimonial from my recent clients Emily and Jeff. I photographed their beautiful Engagement and Wedding. It has truly been a privilage to work with such a wonderful couple!
“Hi Anna, thank you for all the wonderful pics you have sent. You did a great job. I like the pics in black and white also.
I am truly glad we happen to come across your page. You were fantastic through the whole process. I appreciate your easy going attitude. You always remained professional and on time. The engagement session gave us an opportunity to really get to know you and we knew you were the right photographer for us. We absolutely love our wedding photos. Thank you for capturing our memories. “
Another Bridal Editorial of mine has been published in a glossy magazine! I am extremely excited about it!
This publication came out of a shoot I did a couple of months ago in collaboration with Formosa Bridal Boutique, MUA Chunyen Lee and model Tamara Norel. Without further ado, I present to you the Bridal Editorial spread in Freshly Worn Summer 2014 edition.
On July 12th I photographed a wonderful Wedding of Emily and Jeff. This Wedding took place in a While Rock park. Luckily, Vancouver’s finicky weather cooperated and we had a fantastic conditions to work with.
I arrived when Emily and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Green is Emily’s favourite colour and it was the main colour for her wonderful wedding. I began by photographing the wedding dress and all the details.
While photographing the details I was careful to keep an eye on all bride and bride’s mades getting ready. I made use of the mirrors all around me, as every photographer knows that mirrors are your best friend when it comes to photos. 😉
When it was time for the bride to put her dress on I took care to capture this special moment. The green belt accentuates the white dress so well!
While the bride’s maids were getting, I took a moment to photograph the flower girls. Their dresses were absolutely adorable!
And then I was off to the races. I mean, off to photograph the ceremony. 😉 Here are the shots of the location and the wedding party.
Finally, here are some of my favourite shots from the ceremony, which I chose to tern into black and white.
Emily and Jeff had a wonderful wedding filled with special moments. It was a pleasure to photograph their special day.
